About Prof. Milos
A professor, researcher and dermatosurgeon
Prof. Dr. Milos Pavlovic is an experienced Dermatologist specialised in Adult and Paediatric Dermatology and varicose vein diseases. He graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Belgrade, completed Master's and PhD studies in Immunology, and undertook residencies in Paediatrics and Dermatology. His clinical and research work in Immunology and Dermatology has resulted in over one hundred peer-reviewed papers in top scientific journals.
Dr. Milos served as Professor of Dermatology at the Military Medical Academy in Serbia, where he led the Immuno-dermatology service, and later at the Department of Dermatology of the University Clinical Center in Slovenia. He authored several textbooks and chapters on Dermatology, Immunology and Inflammatory Diseases. Alongside caring for inpatients and outpatients with severe skin diseases, he began his work in Phlebology, helping introduce minimally invasive procedures to treat varicose vein disease in Slovenia.
He authored the first international guidelines on the Endovenous Treatment of Varicose Vein Disease and co-authored the European College of Phlebology guidelines. His experience was published in numerous papers and a chapter on vein disease in the major American textbook Surgery of the Skin (J. Robinson, ed.). He and his team improved the Radiofrequency Ablation procedure for varicose veins, increasing its efficacy and safety.
He has worked in highly reputable medical clinics in Dubai since 2016, and now heads the Dermatology Department at Circle Care Clinic. Dr. Milos consults in English, Serbian, Croatian and Slovenian, with a good command of Russian and Italian.
