About Dr. Omaima

Paediatrics rooted in school & community health

Dr. Omaima Ataya Maaliki is a distinguished paediatrician with an extensive background in paediatrics and an unwavering commitment to enhancing healthcare in both school and community settings.

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University's Medical College of Virginia in 2004, she went on to complete a rigorous paediatrics residency programme at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. She has been American Board Certified in Paediatrics since 2007 and is recognised as a Fellow of the American Academy of Paediatrics.

Currently serving as the Medical Director at the American School of Dubai, she passionately advocates for school health — collaborating closely with students and their families, providing health education and maintaining high standards of care and prevention within the school and the broader community.

Dr. Omaima also dedicates part of her time to the team at Circle Care Clinic. Prior to her current roles, she spent nearly a decade as the Head Paediatrician at a community-based practice in Dubai, focusing on the health and wellbeing of children.
