About Dr. Goran

Dr. Goran is an Orthopaedic surgeon who trained in Croatia. On completing his Orthopaedic residency, he became an Assistant Professor at the University of Zagreb Clinical Centre. He received further training through fellowships in Germany, Canada and Austria, and has over 16 years of experience — looking after patients in Dubai since 2016.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Goran contributes to the field of Orthopaedics as a researcher, publishing in medical journals on a regular basis with more than 38 articles to his name. He is a fellow and representative in several European and world Orthopaedic societies, and supports medical education by mentoring students and younger colleagues.
Dr. Goran takes a holistic approach to his patients, considering them partners throughout the process of recovery. He has a particular interest in lower limb problems — knee and foot pain — as well as shoulder concerns. Alongside all the standard Orthopaedic services, he especially promotes non-surgical treatments for knee and shoulder pain using various injection techniques, and prevention through check-ups, consultations and patient education.
