What it is

Care for you and your baby, together

Antenatal care is the regular care you receive throughout pregnancy — checking that both you and your baby are well, spotting anything that needs attention early, and preparing you for birth and beyond. It's a mix of appointments, scans and simple checks, spaced through the nine months.

Good antenatal care is as much about how you feel as what's measured. Alongside the medical monitoring, it's about having a specialist who knows you, answers your questions honestly, and makes a sometimes daunting journey feel calm, safe and genuinely supported.

Expert monitoring, warm reassurance — every step of the way.

Good to know

Pregnancy care, answered

When should I book my first antenatal appointment?
As soon as you know you're pregnant is ideal. An early booking appointment lets us confirm your pregnancy, offer a first scan, take your history and set up your care plan — and gives you early reassurance and advice when it's most valuable.
How many appointments and scans will I have?
It varies with each pregnancy, but you'll have regular appointments that become more frequent as your due date nears, along with key scans through the trimesters. We tailor the schedule to you — and you can always come in sooner if you're worried.
Can I see the same obstetrician throughout?
Yes, and we encourage it. Continuity of care means your obstetrician knows you and your pregnancy in detail, which makes for safer, more personal care and a relationship you can trust through to birth.
Do you offer reassurance scans between routine ones?
Yes. Pregnancy can be an anxious time, and sometimes you simply want to see that all is well. We offer reassurance scans whenever they'd help put your mind at rest.
What happens after my baby is born?
Your baby moves seamlessly into our paediatric care, and we support you with postnatal checks too — one clinic caring for your whole family, a genuine circle of care from pregnancy onwards.
Is pregnancy care covered by insurance?
Maternity cover varies significantly between policies. Our team is happy to help you understand exactly what your plan includes and to assist with any claim.
