Women's Health · Pregnancy & antenatal care
Your pregnancy, in caring hands
From the first positive test to the moment you meet your baby, pregnancy is a journey best travelled with a team you trust. Our warm, Western-trained obstetric care watches over you and your baby at every stage — with reassurance scans, careful monitoring and all the time you need to ask, understand and feel supported.

What it is
Care for you and your baby, together
Antenatal care is the regular care you receive throughout pregnancy — checking that both you and your baby are well, spotting anything that needs attention early, and preparing you for birth and beyond. It's a mix of appointments, scans and simple checks, spaced through the nine months.
Good antenatal care is as much about how you feel as what's measured. Alongside the medical monitoring, it's about having a specialist who knows you, answers your questions honestly, and makes a sometimes daunting journey feel calm, safe and genuinely supported.
Expert monitoring, warm reassurance — every step of the way.

The pregnancy journey
Three trimesters, one trusted team
Pregnancy unfolds in three stages, each with its own checks and milestones. Here's what to expect, and how we care for you through each.
First trimester
Weeks 1–12
Confirming your pregnancy, your first scan and booking appointment, early reassurance, and support with any morning sickness. We take a full history and set your care plan.
Second trimester
Weeks 13–27
Often the most comfortable stage. Regular checks of your health and your baby's growth, and the detailed mid-pregnancy scan — frequently when you learn the sex, if you wish.
Third trimester
Weeks 28–birth
More frequent visits as your due date nears — checking your baby's position and growth, watching your wellbeing closely, and preparing you and your birth plan for the big day.
